The institution with a modest beginning of meager 47 students to over 2000 student strength has now grown in to a institute engaged in imparting education in various levels of schooling such as primary and high school (Kannada medium state syllabus), primary, high school (CBSE syllabus), P.U course (Science and Commerce) and Degree College (Science & commerce).

SSVK is situated in a newly constructed sprawling campus spread over an area of 2 1/2 acres of land with a serene environment and learner friendly atmosphere and is away from generic urban disturbances.
